A glove box is a sealed container, which is used to generate and maintain the desired atmosphere. The glove box allows manipulation of substances that must be contained within a very high purity inert atmosphere, such as argon or nitrogen. Chemical solvents, water, and oxygen are removed from the gas using a series of treatment devices.
